Great Game?

I watched the Super Bowl with some friends from my small group. What a game! It looked like the inevitable was going to happen when New England scored with just over two minutes left, but then the Giants came back and had that amazing pass play on 3rd and 5 and before you knew it the upset was complete. I kept telling people that it was a great game, but finally I realized that I enjoyed it only because I didn't have an emotional investment in either team, so I was okay with any outcome. If the Dallas Cowboys had been in the game, I wouldn't have enjoyed it, even if they had won. I get overwrought and become a person I don't like when my team is in a close battle. I don't know what that means for my future as a sports fan.
